Tell us what it’s like living in Charleston!

I’m obsessed. I love living near the water. It’s charming and southern and has the absolute best restaurants in the world.

You’re a nurse (which we love!), how did you get into modeling?

I love nursing! It’s definitely a passion of mine. I grew up in a household where my dad was a photographer and mom a portrait artist so I always appreciated this form of art. I modeled a little bit throughout college and nursing school but never really saw myself doing it full time until after I graduated. I was introduced to a talent manager through a very good friend of mine and everything sort of fell into place after that. It all happened so fast! It’s been such a crazy ride but I’ve loved it so far.

When you’re not taking care of patients and looking great in bikinis, what are you most likely doing?

I am back in online school so I’m probably playing catch up! Orrrrr I’m in Charleston with my fiance and dog out on the water somewhere

How do you keep yourself so fit? What are your secrets!

Everything in moderation. I try to eat healthy as much as I can during the week, but also try not to deprive myself of things I crave because I would go crazy. I find when I eat better, I feel better. I still go out to eat but try to watch my portions. I love to exercise as well – I do a lot of hot yoga and pilates and try to stay active as much as possible.

Dogs or Cats?

Dogs for sure – but I don’t discriminate I’ve got a soft spot for animals.

What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to and why?

Uganda. I went on my first medical mission trip ever there and will definitely be back. It’s one of the poorest nations in the world yet these people are so happy. It puts things in perspective and reminds me that the best things in life are not things.
