Beach, bikini’s, bronzing and don’t forget….Bananas!

My name is Patricia, I am 28 years old and I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. Such a BIG yet small beach town south of San Fransisco with some of the worlds best surf breaks! I have chosen to eat primarily raw vegan because it is what makes me feel my best! I want to always have proper digestion and tons of energy. This lifestyle 100% aids me in having that! I feel like I haven’t chosen this lifestyle but the lifestyle chose me! I grew up with a variety of health issues that were not treatable through standard western medicine and I needed to use food as my medicine. I have created some of the easiest recipes perfect for you to take on the go while enjoying your day! These smoothies are perfect for sipping on the beach while getting a nice tan in your favorite bikini!

This Kiwi Beach smoothie is a special treat! You have cantaloupe as the beautiful base, which is very high in vitamin A and C and is also high in beta-carotene. The kiwis add an extra zesty twist with their sweet, sour and tasty crunchy seeds! Kiwis are also very high in vitamin C. These little gems actually have more vitamin C than an orange! Kiwis are a good source of fiber so if you’re up for the challenge try blending it with the skin on!

This smoothie is perfect for breakfast or lunch!

Kiwi Beach

1 Cantaloupe

4 Kiwis

2 cup water

The Watermelon Wonderland smoothie is one of my favorites to take to the beach because it’s so light and refreshing! Watermelon is the fruit of summer! It is high in water content and has so many wonderful benefits! Watermelon is great for cardiovascular and bone health. It also has high amounts of citrulline, which is an amino acid and best of all it is hydrating!
Pineapple and strawberries are also high in vitamin C and have plenty of soluble fiber. Mint leaves give this an extra pinch of wow! Adding a fresh kick to your sweet and sour smoothie!

Watermelon Wonderland

½ mini watermelon

½ pineapple

2 cups strawberries

Small bunch of mint leaves
