We love seeing pics of all our ishine babes reppin’ their kinis in the coolest places around the world and we especially love reading about the adventures they had in them. ️ This week one of our ishine ambassadors @kianacayabyab wrote to us about Hawaii, where she lives on the magical island of Kaua’i (we’re so jealous).
check out all she says you can do on this cute lil’ island
First off, you must know that Kaua’i has no night life… so that means you need to make use of your day and start early. It’s great to sleep, don’t get me wrong, but when you’re on Kaua’i, it’s time to explore what the island has to offer!
Where To Stay
If you want to be luxurious, I recommend staying at the St Regis (Princeville), Grand Hyatt Kaua’i Resort (Poipu), Kaua’i Marriott Resort (Lihue), and the Sheraton Kaua’i (Poipu). These places are resort hotels, and I promise you will not be disappointed!
If you want to just lay low and Air BnB, that’s fine too. You probably won’t even be at home for most of time, so if you decide to not get anything extravagant and want to be simple…then you’ll be living like a local

Where To Eat
There are so many awesome places to eat! Here’s 20 “go-to” places that you must try:
1) Pono Market
4) Mark’s Place
5) The Dolphin
6) Kintaros
8) Puka Dogs
10) Brick Oven
11) Lappert’s
12) Bubba’s Burgers
14) Hanalei Taro Company (Food Truck)
16) Kaua’i Ramen
17) Fish Express
18) Tip Top
19) Street Burger
Things To Do
Okay now let’s get to the adventuring!!
Here are some hikes you can do:
– Ho’opi’i Falls Hike (Kapahi)
– Sleeping Giant Hike (Wailua)
– Loop Road (Wailua)
– Wailua River (Wailua) – You have to kayak up the river to get to the hike, I suggest taking a tour!
– ‘Awa’awapuhi Trail (Koke’e) – This place is very beautiful. Be sure to be prepared to walk on a path that is very narrow. You’ll be overlooking the gorgeous Kalalau mountains.
– Hanakapiai (Ha’ena) – This long hike leads to a very pretty waterfall! It’s a 4 mile hike (8 miles round trip). This will probably be an all day event, so plan accordingly.
The “IG Perfect” Spots:

Remember to take a lot of cute pics! You never know when the next time you’ll be on Kaua’i! Feel free to tag ishine365 in your pictures whenever you’re showing off your bikinis

XOXO,
Kiana
