Finally, the girl behind the blogs gets to write about herself! I recently took a magical trip to Costa Rica for a friend’s wedding and my boyfriend and I stayed for a full week to soak up as much sun and get in as much surf time (I just watch & bronze) as we can. We stayed in the province of Guanacaste, which is on the Northwest side of the country. It’s filled with beautiful beaches, great surf spots, a national forest, and incredible wildlife. Monkeys, sloths, and iguanas..everywhere!

Like I said before, I tagged along on all of the fun surfing excursions. Here’s a cute pic of all the surfer boys before they shredded the gnar.

I can’t go anywhere without making some new cat friends.

Of course I had to have a mini photoshoot of myself in my new Mikoh bikini!

We took a tiny boat (I’m talking REAL tiny) out into the middle of the ocean to two surf spots called Witches Rock and Ollie’s Point. I wish I took photos of the mom and baby humpback whales we were next to on the ride! So amazing.

Another incredible spot was Tamarindo Beach, a real popular touristy beach, but super beautiful and filled with great restaurants and bars.

The next day we went on a group ATV trip into the jungle and stopped off by a beautiful beach to take some pics.

I wore my Frankie’s Bikinis Poppy one-piece, the perfect swimsuit for the occasion.

We spent the rest of the week at our hotel hanging out at the swim up pool bar, drinking frozen drinks, and running around in the beach right in back.

We stayed at the Flamingo Hotel & Resort and it was perfect!

And of course, the last night was the beautiful beach wedding!
