How did you end up living in Hawaii?
I wound up in Hawaii after bearing one of the coldest winters I had ever experienced back in New York. When spring rolled around I promised myself I would never do that again. So I up and left to live with my best friend who had just moved to Hawaii.
Tell us what it’s like to live in a tropical paradise!
This is my second year here and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Living in paradise is incredible. There’s always something to do. Beach, surf, free-dive, snorkel, swim, hike, the list goes on! Everyday. Without fail. I don’t know why people live anywhere else.
What are the best restaurants and bars in Honolulu?
Oh man, good question, haha. I don’t go out to eat much, honestly. But when I do, it’s usually always Thai food! I’m obsessed with curry – and they always offer it vegan! Or a vegan whole foods pizza pie. If you haven’t tried it, you have to!! Delicious. As far as bars, Lulu’s in Waikiki has industry night so Mondays, so I usually head there. I would say Thursday nights I usually head to Tropics, a small tap house located near University. And weekends if I make it out I’m usually in China town! Tons of fun bars there.
